TANF Extension Act of 2005 - Reauthorizes and extends the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Block Grant Program under part A of title IV of the Social Security Act through September 30, 2005, in the manner authorized for FY2004. TANF Extension Act of 2005 - Reauthorizes and extends through September 30, 2005, in the manner authorized for FY2004, the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Block Grant Program under part A of title IV of the Social Security Act (SSA), funding for state abstinence education programs under SSA title V (Maternal and Child Health Services Block Grant), and eligibility for Transitional Medical Assistance (TMA) under SSA title XIX (Medicaid).
